Academic Schedule
The duration of studies is defined as three (3) semesters of full-time study (two semesters with courses and one semester for the preparation of a diploma thesis)
FIRST SEMESTER
Obligatory modules
- Modern Mediteranean History
- Euro-mediterranean Relations
Elective modules
Two of the following:- Policies for the Management of Refugee and Migrant Flows
- Political Economy of the Mediterranean Countries
- European governance. Globalisation and the Mediterranean’s position in it
- International Organizations and Human Rights Protection in the Greater Mediterranean Area
SECOND SEMESTER
Elective mandatory modules
Four of the following:-
- European Political Integration: Security and Defense
- Energy Security in the Mediterranean
- Greek-Turkish Relations and Cyprus
- International Relations in southeastern Europe.
- International law of the sea and the Mediterranean
- Disarmament International Treaties in the Mediterranean/Middles – East
