Διακρατικές, Ενδοκρατικές και Διεθνικές Συγκρούσεις στη Μεσόγειο

Στο σεμιναριακό αυτό μάθημα εξετάζονται αναλυτικά και συζητούνται διεξοδικά μια σειρά από θεματικές, που συνδέονται με την ανάπτυξη και εξέλιξη τόσο «παλαιών» συγκρούσεων και αντιπαραθέσεων (όπως η ελληνοτουρκική αντιπαράθεση) στην περιοχή της Μεσογείου όσο και των σύγχρονων απειλών και προκλήσεων για την διεθνή και περιφερειακή ασφάλεια στην μεταψυχροπολεμική καθώς και στην μετά την 11^η Σεπτεμβρίου εποχή, όπως η κλιματική αλλαγή,  η τρομοκρατία, τα Όπλα Μαζικής Καταστροφής (ΟΜΚ), το οργανωμένο έγκλημα, η πειρατεία, ο θρησκευτικός ριζοσπαστισμός, η έλλειψη ενεργειακών πηγών κ.ά.Κατά την διάρκεια του μαθήματος, ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δίδεται στη μελέτη και κριτική συζήτηση της σχετικής βιβλιογραφίας, στην ανάπτυξη των αναλυτικών δεξιοτήτων των συμμετεχόντων/ουσών και στην εκμάθηση των συμμετεχόντων/ουσών να πραγματοποιούν αποτελεσματικές προφορικές παρουσιάσεις των εργασιών που αναλαμβάνουν να εκπονήσουν κατά τη διάρκεια του σεμιναριακού αυτού μαθήματος.
